Born and raised in rural Florida, I grew up on a small farm that contributed to my fondness to animals… Dogs, horses, and cats were extended family as far back as I could remember. Although my parents separated before I was two, my Mother and Father have always been a wonderful part of my life. The two contrasting households showed me different ways to view life and I am sure influenced my strong value of open-minded thinking and consideration to others. My Mother’s been very inspirational in my life and instilled a strong work ethic early… when I struggled with structured learning, that hard work ethic helped me overcome the learning challenges and have had successful experiences in life plus contributed with many exciting adventures in Martial Arts and other sports. Happy with the privacy rural living allows, I still humbly live on the property I originally purchased at 20, to raise my children. I always enjoyed fictional and fantasy stories and in my late 20’s my wife, who was like an angel, suggested I explore those fascinations and curiosities to create stories from my ideas. From that supportive encouragement and help to record my ideas for an attempt at writing, came an exciting new bond for us… but a battle with cancer put a halt to that effort. After I lost her, I lost the desire to write for a while. Slowly the desire returned and now in my mid years of life, with many more experiences to draw from, my life seems to have come full circle. I hold close all my memories while embracing new adventures and dabbling in story creating once again…
